Showcasing Hospitality Careers during National Apprenticeship Week
Umbrella Training working with its sponsors showcased hospitality careers with its Hospitality Apprenticeship Bus during National Apprenticeship Week on 7 March 2019.Starting in Gravesend in Kent and ending up in Westminster schools, the bus reached over 1,000 young people on the day. At the welcome reception hosted at Park Plaza Westminster Bridge, Sam Coulstock FIH said "the young people in schools we have met today, are keen to find out more about hospitality and apprenticeships. Each student that jumped onto the bus meet with hospitality apprentices and learnt about exciting career opportunities available to them when they leave school. Each student was given an information pack aimed at changing perceptions of careers and apprenticeships in hospitality.
